Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. Acceptance

Payment of a quote, invoice, or website order is acceptance of these Terms and of the sizes, quantities, finishes, glass, hardware, and prices on that document. You affirm that those details are true, accurate, and final. A signature, where one is provided, has the same effect. The quote, invoice, or order confirmation controls over website descriptions, photographs, and chat replies.

2. Reporting of damages or missing items

Claims for shipping damage, visible defects, or missing items must be sent to Sashway in writing within fifteen (15) calendar days of the delivery date. The notice must describe the problem, include photographs, and include the invoice or order number. Send it to billing@sashway.com. Visible damage must be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt before the driver leaves.

Failure to report within fifteen (15) calendar days is acceptance of the delivery as complete and in satisfactory condition as to shipping damage, visible defects, and shortages. Sashway is not liable for those claims when they are reported after that period.

This deadline does not shorten a written warranty Sashway provides for manufacturing defects.

3. Product suitability and regulatory compliance

You alone decide whether a product is suitable for your opening and location. That includes local, state, and federal building codes, energy codes, wind and impact requirements, egress, and any other ordinance that applies at the job site.

Sashway sells product nationwide as a supplier of materials. Sashway makes no representation or warranty that a product complies with the code at your location. Published ratings describe that product. They are not an approval for every jurisdiction. Sashway is not responsible for loss, claims, or liability from non-compliance or from an improper application, except where the law does not allow this limit.

4. Installation and measurements

The price covers the product. It does not include installation, permits, engineering, flashing, or haul-away unless a separate written contract says so. You are responsible for measurements you supply. The order is built to the sizes on the quote, invoice, or checkout confirmation.

5. Custom orders

A custom order is anything that is not a stocked standard size and configuration, including a made-to-order size, finish, glass, or hardware. Custom orders are final, non-cancellable, and non-refundable once production has commenced. Production has commenced when Sashway releases the order to the factory or fabrication begins, whichever happens first.

6. Standard items and returns

Standard items may be returned only if Sashway authorizes the return in writing.

• An accepted return requested within thirty (30) days of delivery is not charged a restocking fee.
• An accepted return requested after thirty (30) days, and no later than ninety (90) days from delivery, is subject to a 15% restocking fee.
• Sashway does not accept returns after ninety (90) days from delivery.

The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original crate and packaging. You pay all return shipping and handling. Sashway may refuse a return that arrives damaged or short.

7. Lead time

Estimated lead time for custom orders is approximately ten to fourteen (10-14) weeks from the date of purchase. Any ship time stated on the website, including a typical time for standard openings, is an estimate only. Timing can change because of production schedules, transportation, customs clearance, and other causes beyond Sashway's control. Sashway does not guarantee a ship date or a delivery date.

Delivery is curbside unless the invoice states otherwise. Liftgate, residential, and appointment fees may be added. Risk of loss passes to you when the shipment is delivered to the address on the order. Title passes when payment is received in full.

8. Price, freight, and tax

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is added from the delivery address unless the invoice or checkout already shows it. Freight is extra unless the order says freight is included. A free-freight offer applies only when its published conditions are met.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sashway's total liability on an order is limited to the amount you paid Sashway for the product involved. Sashway is not liable for consequential or indirect loss, including water intrusion, lost use, construction delay, or labor to remove or reinstall a product, except where the law does not allow that exclusion.

10. Updates

Sashway may update these Terms for later orders. The Terms in effect when you pay apply to that order. For an invoice, the copy attached to the invoice is the copy for that invoice.

11. Notices

Sashway Windows & Doors. Written notices go to billing@sashway.com and must include the invoice or order number.

Use of the website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the site, or misuse our content. Photos, sizes, and descriptions are general information. The quote, invoice, or order confirmation is what you are buying. The site is provided as is.
